The International Rabbinic Fellowship, mourns the passing of Ida Nudel, z"l, at the age of 90 in Israel.

The International Rabbinic Fellowship expresses its deep dismay that Orthodox teenagers affiliated with the right wing Liba organization, aggressively disrupted the services of non-Orthodox communities on Tisha Be-Av eve at the egalitarian section of the Kotel known as Ezrat Yisrael.

The International Rabbinic Fellowship, as an organization, does not, in principle, publicly express views on internal political issues in Israel, which are rightly the province of its citizens to decide through its elected representatives. Thus, we take no position on the current coalition building efforts and who should form the next government.

The International Rabbinic Fellowship reaffirms its solidarity with the State and people of Israel as they absorb indiscriminate rocket fire aimed at civilian targets in the southern and central parts of the country.

With great sorrow, the International Rabbinic Fellowship joins Klal Yisrael in mourning the loss of our dear friend and colleague Rabbi Ronen Neuwirth, z”l.

The International Rabbinic Fellowship, as a deeply committed Modern-Orthodox and Zionist organization, wholly supports the vision of the State of Israel as a Jewish-Democratic state that, in addition to being the home of all its citizens, is deeply connected to the entire Jewish people throughout the world, whatever their religious affiliation and identification. As such it must be open, welcoming and supportive of all law abiding citizens who dwell in its borders and to the entire spectrum of Jews throughout the world.
