The International Rabbinic Fellowship, mourns the passing of Ida Nudel, z"l, at the age of 90 in Israel.

Ida was a prominent prisoner of Zion from 1970 till her eventual aliyah in 1987, including spending four years in a Siberian labor camp. After her aliyah she continued to work on behalf of other Soviet refuseniks, Zionist activism in Russia and an activist for children's education in Israel.

May her family be comforted by the Almighty among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
