The International Rabbinic Fellowship reaffirms its solidarity with the State and people of Israel as they absorb indiscriminate rocket fire aimed at civilian targets in the southern and central parts of the country.

We affirm our support of the right of Israel to defend its people against these acts of war and terrorism initiated and carried out by Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. We mourn the loss of life of all civilians, Israeli and Palestinian, caught in the middle of this conflict. We call upon the world community to use all of its diplomatic resources to bring an immediate end to the rocket fire from Gaza which will end any need for Israeli actions in defense of its people.
