IRF Reacts to Terrorist Murder of Muslim Worshipers in New Zealand
March 15, 2019
The International Rabbinic Fellowship expresses it horror and outrage at the terrorist attacks in New Zealand targeting Muslim worshipers engaged in prayer to God who created us all in God's image. These attacks, driven by anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim hate rip at the very fabric of our shared humanity.
We extend our comfort and solidarity to the Muslim community in New Zealand and the world over. We offer our prayers for the recovery of the injured and wounded and for healing and comfort to all the families of the bereaved. We call on members of the IRF and the Jewish community at large to reach out to their Muslim brothers and sisters and offer condolences and support.
