IRF Extends Condolences on Passing of Rabbi Moshe Hauer, z"l

October 17, 2025

To the leadership and staff of the Orthodox Union,

On behalf of the International Rabbinic Fellowship, we extend our deepest condolences to you on the passing of Rabbi Moshe Hauer, zt”l.

We know that for so many of you, this loss is not only professional but deeply personal. Rabbi Hauer was a trusted colleague, a cherished mentor, and a dear friend. His warmth, humility, and steadfast commitment to Torah and the Jewish people touched all who had the privilege to know him.

Rabbi Hauer’s gentle voice and compassionate heart inspired confidence and comfort in equal measure. His leadership reflected the best of our shared values—integrity, empathy, and a profound love for Am Yisrael. In recent years, he became a powerful voice for unity and for building bridges across the Jewish world, always guided by respect and care for others.

We share in your sorrow at this tremendous loss and pray that you find comfort in the countless lives he uplifted and the enduring legacy of his Torah and example.
