IRF Condemns Terror Attacks in Israel
November 10, 2014
The International Rabbinic Fellowship, together with all people of good will, condemn the growing wave of terrorism directed at Israeli citizens in the last few weeks that have included shootings, hit and run murders and other acts of violence, culminating in today's stabbing of a 26 year old woman in Alon Shvut, Gush Etzion.
We grieve and extend our condolences to the victims and their families, who are Jewish, Druze, Muslim and Christian, and have been murdered or injured in these cowardly attacks.
We call upon the Palestinian Authority and Muslim religious leaders throughout the world to condemn these actions, cease all support or glorification of perpetrators of such acts and educate against violence and mayhem, even in the pursuit of redressing political grievances.
We support the State of Israel and its security services in its fight to prevent terrorism and to prosecute those who would do harm to others. We call on all people to allow the police forces and security services of the State of Israel to attend to the challenges and not, God forbid, take the law into their own hands.
